(60 ILCS 1/230-5) Sec. 230-5. CETA funds. The township board in counties with a population of less than 1,000,000 may receive funds from the United States under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973, Public Law 93-203, and may disburse those funds together with any other township funds for the purposes specified in that Act. (60 ILCS 1/230-10) Sec. 230-10. Job training; workers' compensation. The township board may expend monies for workers' compensation coverage of individuals who qualify for township general assistance and participate in a job training or work program. (Source: P.A. 85-1209; 88-62.)
