(1) (a) On or before December 31, the committee shall submit the committee's recommendation under Subsection 35A-8-607(4) for each eligible municipality that made a request: (i) to the Social Services Appropriations Subcommittee of the Legislature; and (ii) as an appropriations request. (b) For each recommendation that the committee submits, the Social Services Appropriations Subcommittee shall: (i) approve the amount as recommended; (ii) increase or decrease the amount and then approve the modified amount; or (iii) reject the amount.

(b) The Social Services Appropriations Subcommittee shall: (i) approve the committee's list; (ii) modify the committee's list and then approve the modified list; or (iii) reject the committee's list.
