§ 5-8.1-19. Board of registration for professional land surveyors - Duties of recorders. It is unlawful for the recorder of deeds or the registrar of titles or any city or town clerk or employee of these to accept, file, or record any map, plat, replat, survey, or other documents within the definition of land surveying that do not have impressed on them and affixed to them the personal signature, date, and seal of a professional land surveyor registered under this chapter and by whom or under whose direct supervision the map, plat, replat, survey, or other documents were prepared.
