§ 45-3-9. Notice of meetings by request - Hour held - Business considered. The notice of meetings, when called by request provided in § 45-3-6, shall be given in the manner provided for meetings prescribed by law. In towns in which the hour of meetings prescribed by law is fixed by law, meetings called by request shall be held at the same hour. In other towns, the meetings shall be held at the hour named in the request. At all meetings called by request, only the business stated in the warrants directing the calling of the meetings shall be acted upon.
