§ 42-66-6. Administrative units. The director may from time to time, subject to appropriation, establish within the department those administrative units that may be necessary for its efficient and economical administration and, when necessary for that purpose, the director may abolish or merge any two (2) or more administrative units. The director shall prepare and keep current a statement of the organization of the department, of the assignment of functions to its various divisions, units, and employees, and of the places at which and the methods by which the public may receive information or make requests.
