§ 42-45.1-8. Conditions upon transfer of property by state. When transferring real property under its jurisdiction that contains significant archaeologic or other anthropological resources, the state, its agencies, departments, and institutions, may, upon the recommendation of the state historical preservation commission, condition the transfer upon such covenants, restrictions, or other contractual arrangements as will limit the future use of the property in such a way as will protect those resources.
