§ 37-8-2. Rented premises - Military buildings - Institutional buildings. The department and the director of administration shall also have supervision of the various military buildings in the custody of the adjutant general; provided, however, that the supervision shall relate only to the construction, repair, maintenance, and janitorial service of the properties. The department shall also have the supervision of the various buildings at the Dr. U. E. Zambarano memorial hospital, the Rhode Island school for the deaf, the several barracks under the control of the state police, buildings under the supervision of the chief engineer of the public works division of the department of transportation, and buildings and structures under the department of environmental management; provided, however, that the supervision shall relate only to the construction and repair of the properties, and shall not relate to the repair of buildings at the Dr. U. E. Zambarano memorial hospital.
