§ 36-3-8. Organization and meetings of board - Compensation of members. The board shall elect one of its members chairperson. Each member shall take the oath of office before entering upon the duties of the office. Members of the board shall be reimbursed for necessary travel and other expenses and each member of the board shall be paid an annual salary of seven thousand two hundred dollars ($7,200). The board shall meet at times and places as shall be specified by call of the chairperson or the governor. Notice of each meeting shall be given in writing to each member. Three (3) members shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business.
