§ 404-m. Distinctive license plates commemorating the World University Games. 1. Any person shall upon request be issued a license plate commemorating the World University Games bearing the name and logo of the World University Games. The arrangement of the name and logo on such license plate shall be in the sole discretion of the commissioner.
2. A distinctive plate issued pursuant to this section shall be issued in the same manner as other number plates upon payment of the regular registration fee prescribed by section four hundred one of this article and an additional annual service charge of forty dollars.
3. Of the forty dollar annual service charge collected by the commissioner pursuant to subdivision two of this section, twenty-five dollars shall be transmitted to the comptroller for deposit into the World University Games Fund established by section ninety-seven-nn of the state finance law to be made available to the Greater Buffalo Athletic Corporation.
