26:2-199 "My Life, My Plan" program.

1. a. The Commissioner of Health shall establish a "My Life, My Plan" program in the Department of Health to promote and support reproductive life planning for all women of childbearing age and their families. Program resources may include interactive online educational materials and tools to assist women with developing a reproductive life plan. The program shall include components targeted for teenagers, and may additionally include reproductive life planning for all populations, including men and individuals who identify as undesignated or non-binary. The program shall include online resources that promote physical and mental health, and may include information concerning:

(1) access to well-woman preventative services, including eligibility for and enrollment in the NJ FamilyCare Program, established pursuant to sections 3 through 5 of P.L.2005, c.156 (C.30:4J-10 through C.30:4J-12);

(2) healthy relationships and domestic violence;

(3) long-term family planning and contraception options;

(4) educational resources concerning the causes of and treatments for infertility;

(5) healthy environments and mitigating exposure to environmental risk factors;

(6) financial health; and

(7) child care assistance, referral services, the New Jersey Child Care Subsidy Program, and other social service programs with a child care component.

b. The commissioner shall develop programs and resources to encourage health care providers, community health workers, and healthcare facilities to encourage and support women in the development of a reproductive life plan, to encourage the integration of reproductive life plans into patient medical records, and to ensure that consultations, treatment, and other services provided to each woman are consistent with her reproductive life plan.

c. The commissioner may consult with or enter into partnerships with appropriate public and private entities for the purposes of developing and maintaining the "My Life, My Plan" program.
