An association of self-insured public or private employers shall be deemed to have appointed the Commissioner as its agent to receive any initial legal process authorized by law to be served upon the association for as long as the association is obligated to pay any compensation under chapters 616A to 616D, inclusive, or chapter 617 of NRS.
