NRS 482.555 - Criminal penalties for certain violations of chapter; exception.

1. In addition to any other penalty provided by this chapter:

(a) It is a gross misdemeanor for any person knowingly to falsify:

(1) A dealer’s or rebuilder’s report of sale, as described in NRS 482.423 and 482.424;

(2) An application or document to obtain any license, permit, certificate of title or vehicle registration issued under the provisions of this chapter; or

(3) An application or document to obtain a salvage title or nonrepairable vehicle certificate as defined in chapter 487 of NRS.

(b) It is a misdemeanor for any person to violate any of the provisions of this chapter unless such violation is by this section or other provision of this chapter or other law of this State declared to be a gross misdemeanor or a felony.

2. The provisions of this section do not apply to a violation of subsection 3 of NRS 482.367002.
