Petitions for confirmation of sales shall be made to the district court of the county in which such lands are situated, and the clerk of the court shall fix a day for and give notice of hearing by publication on three dates of publication prior to the hearing, and if the newspaper is published oftener than once a week there shall be at least 10 days from the first to last dates of publication (both first and last days included).
