Any billboard, sign, placard, notice or other form of outdoor advertisement erected, placed, painted, posted or maintained otherwise than is provided in NRS 405.020 to 405.100, inclusive, or in NRS 408.275 shall be deemed a public nuisance and shall be removed, effaced or destroyed by the sheriff and other peace officers having authority wherever such nuisance may be located.
