Except as otherwise provided in NRS 355.140 and 355.150, the State Board of Finance, State Board of Education or other state agency shall proceed in the same manner as the law relating to each of them requires in the making of such investments, the purpose of NRS 355.140 and 355.150, being merely to designate the classes of bonds and other securities and loans in which the funds mentioned in NRS 355.140 lawfully may be invested and the other matters relating thereto as specified in NRS 355.140 and 355.150.
