1. From July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2021, for the purposes of the provisions of NRS 598.0903 to 598.0999, inclusive, any duty or authority conferred upon or any reference to the Consumer Affairs Division of the Department of Business and Industry shall be deemed to be the duty or authority of, or a reference to, the Consumer Affairs Unit which is hereby created in the Department of Business and Industry.
2. The Director of the Department of Business and Industry shall designate a Deputy Director of the Department of Business and Industry to serve as the Commissioner of Consumer Affairs and Chief of the Consumer Affairs Unit.
