St. Clair. — Beginning at the northwest corner of township thirty-nine, range twenty-eight, west; thence south with the range line between ranges twenty-eight and twenty-nine to the southwest corner of section seven of township thirty-six of range twenty-eight; thence east with the subdivisional lines to the southeast corner of section eight of township thirty-six of range twenty-six, west; thence south with the subdivisional lines to the southwest corner of section thirty-three, township thirty-six of range twenty-six; thence east with the township line between townships thirty-five and thirty-six to the southeast corner of section thirty-three of township thirty-six of range twenty-four; thence north with the subdivisional lines to the northeast corner of section four of township thirty-six of range twenty-four; thence east with the township line between townships thirty-six and thirty-seven to the southeast corner of township thirty-seven of range twenty-four, west; thence to the northeast corner of township thirty-nine of range twenty-four; thence west with the township line till it crosses the Osage River the second time; thence with the meanderings of said Osage River till it again strikes the township line; thence west with the township line, on the line between townships thirty-nine and forty, to the place of beginning.
