338.041 Administration of matters pertaining to occupational safety and health -- Contract with other agencies. (1) The Department of Workplace Standards in the Labor Cabinet shall administer all matters pertaining to occupational safety and occupational health. (2) The department may require the assistance of other state agencies and may enter into agreements with other state agencies and political subdivisions of the Commonwealth for the administration of this chapter. (3) The department may enter into an agreement with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and other appropriate departments or agencies to conduct research, experiments, and demonstrations relating to occupational safety and health, including studies of psychological factors involved, and relating to innovative methods, techniques, and approaches for dealing with occupational safety and health problems in the administration of this chapter.
