Such license or certification shall render the holder a legal practitioner of the practice or activity specified in the license or certification for the period stated on it. The board shall prescribe by administrative regulation the beginning and ending of the licensure or certification period. (3) Any person who is licensed or certified by the board who allows his or her license or certification to lapse by failing to renew the license or certification as provided in this section may be reinstated by the board by meeting the requirements of administrative regulations promulgated by the board.
