304.32-260 Limitations of subtitle. Nothing contained in this subtitle shall be construed to affect or apply to hospitals, or other licensed health care institutions, nor to any individuals, partnerships, associations, or corporations which are the direct purveyors of health services; nor shall it be construed to limit in any way the rights of hospitals, or other licensed health care institutions or purveyors of health services to establish methods of payment directly with purchasers of their services; but the commissioner may require from any institution or purveyor of medical services information that will enable him or her to determine whether arrangements for payment of medical services are subject to the provisions of this subtitle.
