272.101 Purpose of law. In enacting KRS 272.1001, 272.101 to 272.341, it is the intention of the General Assembly to promote, foster and encourage the intelligent and orderly production and marketing of agricultural products through cooperation, to eliminate speculation and waste, to make the distribution of agricultural products between producer and consumer as direct as can be efficiently done, and to stabilize the marketing of agricultural products and to provide for the organization and incorporation of agricultural cooperative associations.
