212.400 Compensation of board members. Each member of the board, except members ex officio, shall receive the sum of fifty dollars ($50) for each meeting of the board attended by such member; provided, however, that no member of said board shall be paid more than six hundred dollars ($600) during any fiscal year of the board, nor for more than twelve (12) meetings held during any fiscal year of said board.
