156.834 Appeal to board of lay-off by continuing status employee. (1) A continuing status employee may appeal his lay-off on the grounds that the procedures in KRS 156.832 were not followed. (2) An appeal filed by a continuing status employee shall be filed with the board within thirty (30) days of the effective date of the lay-off. The board shall hear any appeal filed by a continuing status employee within sixty (60) days of the filing date, and it shall render a final order within ninety (90) days of the filing date.
