149.315 Operative date of compact -- Exchange of official documents. When the Governor shall have executed a compact, as authorized by KRS 149.310, on behalf of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and shall have caused a verified copy thereof to be filed with the Secretary of State, and when said compact shall have been ratified by one or more of the states named in KRS 149.310, then said compact shall become operative and effective as between the Commonwealth of Kentucky and such other state or states. The Governor is hereby authorized and directed to take such action as may be necessary to complete the exchange of official documents between the Commonwealth of Kentucky and any other state ratifying said compact.
