147.635 Budget -- Annual audit -- Compliance with KRS 65A.010 to 65A.090. (1) An area planning commission created under the provisions of KRS 147.610 to 147.705 shall, not later than two (2) months prior to the first day of its fiscal year, submit a proposed budget detailing anticipated revenues and expenditures, and a proposed tax rate, to the area council for its approval on or before the first day of each such fiscal year. (2) The area council shall contract with an independent, reputable certified public accountant to perform an audit of the records, books, and accounts of the area planning commission for each fiscal year. (3) The area planning commission and area council shall comply with the provisions of KRS 65A.010 to 65A.090. Effective: March 21, 2013 History: Amended 2013 Ky.
