100.297 Official map, contents -- Hearing, posting. (1) The official map may show, without being limited to, the location and extent of existing and proposed public streets, including rights-of-way, watercourses, parks and playgrounds, public schools and building sites, and other public facilities needs. (2) Prior to the adoption or amendment of the official map, the planning commission shall review the map or changes to it in light of the comprehensive plan, shall hold a public hearing on the map or proposed changes pursuant to public notice as prescribed by KRS Chapter 424, and shall recommend its approval or disapproval to the legislative bodies. (3) After the passage of the official map regulation for all or part of the city or county, all streets, watercourses, parks and playgrounds, public buildings, public school sites, or other public facilities which have been approved under subdivision regulations as provided in this chapter, shall be posted to the official map; no public hearing need be held for such additions to the official map.
