5-453. Savings clause. K.S.A. 2018 Supp. 5-423 through 5-453, and amendments thereto, do not affect an action or proceeding commenced or right accrued before K.S.A. 2018 Supp. 5-423 through 5-453, and amendments thereto, take effect. Subject to K.S.A. 2018 Supp. 5-425, and amendments thereto, an arbitration agreement made before the effective date of K.S.A. 2018 Supp. 5-423 through 5-453, and amendments thereto, is governed by article 4 of chapter 5 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, prior to its repeal.
