(20 ILCS 1010/1) (from Ch. 48, par. 172a) Sec. 1. All the privileges, benefits, obligations and conditions of an Act of Congress entitled "An Act to provide for the establishment of a National employment system and for cooperation with the states in the promotion of such system, and for other purposes," are hereby accepted by the State of Illinois and the Department of Employment Security is authorized and empowered and it shall be its duty to cooperate with the United States Employment Service and to coordinate the services and work of the public employment offices of the State with the services and work of such national employment system and to do all the things which are necessary to obtain the benefits which are available under the provisions of the aforementioned Federal Act. (20 ILCS 1010/2) (from Ch. 48, par. 172b) Sec. 2. The State Treasurer shall be ex-officio custodian of all moneys apportioned to this State under the provisions of the said Federal Act. Such moneys shall be expended by the Department of Employment Security for the purpose of establishing and maintaining public employment offices in accordance with the provisions of the aforesaid Federal Act, and may be paid out by the State Treasurer upon the order of the Department of Labor. The State Treasurer shall deposit such moneys in banks which have been approved as State depositaries under the provisions of "An Act in relation to State moneys," approved June 28, 1919, as amended, and for the safe keeping of such moneys shall take securities as provided in said Act.
