39-262. REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGE — MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES FILED. Every person who performs a marriage ceremony shall prepare and sign a certificate of marriage in duplicate, one (1) of which shall be given to the parties and the other filed by said person within ten (10) days after the ceremony with the county recorder. Every county recorder shall forward to the state registrar on or before the 15th day of each calendar month the certificates of marriage which were filed with said recorder during the preceding calendar month. The form of certificate of marriage shall be prescribed by the board, in accordance with the provisions of sections 32-401 and 32-402, Idaho Code. No certificate shall be deemed complete until every item of information required shall have been provided or its omission satisfactorily accounted for.
