§286-53.1 Boat dealers; trailers without plates. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, a manufacturer of or a dealer in boats having an established place of business in the State may move a boat trailer without license number plates upon the public highways during the initial continuous movement of the boat trailer and any boat being transported on the trailer from its point of entry into the State to a storage, display, or sales area selected by the manufacturer or dealer.
