Section 7-233z - Comprehensive report.

(a) A municipal electric energy cooperative, created pursuant to this chapter, shall submit a comprehensive report on the activities of the municipal electric utilities with regard to promotion of renewable energy resources. Such report shall identify the standards and activities of municipal electric utilities in the promotion, encouragement and expansion of the deployment and use of renewable energy sources within the service areas of the municipal electric utilities for the prior calendar year. The cooperative shall submit the report to the Connecticut Green Bank not later than ninety days after the end of each calendar year that describes the activities undertaken pursuant to this subsection during the previous calendar year for the promotion and development of renewable energy sources for all electric customer classes.

(b) Such cooperative shall develop standards for the promotion of renewable resources that apply to each municipal electric utility. On or before January 1, 2008, and annually thereafter, such cooperative shall submit such standards to the Connecticut Green Bank.
