(a) The board of directors of the Connecticut Small Employer Health Reinsurance Pool shall establish, subject to the approval of the Insurance Commissioner, a standard family health statement for use by small employer carriers to determine whether to cede lives to the reinsurance pool. Not later than ninety days after approval by the Insurance Commissioner of the family health statement, the board shall require every small employer carrier, as a condition of transacting such business in this state, to use the statement for such plans and arrangements.

(b) The statement may be amended from time to time as the board deems necessary, subject to the approval of the Insurance Commissioner.

History: P.A. 93-345 effective June 29, 1993; P.A. 15-247 amended Subsec. (a) by replacing references to underwriting form with references to family health statement and replacing provision re use of form with provision re use of statement, and made technical and conforming changes, effective July 10, 2015.
