Section 20-525 - Periodic publication of information and material.

The Department of Consumer Protection, at the request of the commission, may periodically compile and publish a bulletin containing information and material relating to the commission, its functions and certifications, provisional licenses and other information and material relating to the real estate appraisal industry that might be of help and interest to certificate holders or provisional licensees in their service of the public. The commission may also request the department to publish such information and material in any established periodical published in the state if, in the opinion of the commission, such form of publication would ensure the widest dissemination of such information and material to certification holders and provisional licensees and the public.

History: P.A. 93-354 effective in accordance with Sec. 20-528; P.A. 94-36 changed effective date of P.A. 93-354 but without affecting this section; P.A. 98-10 made a technical change; P.A. 00-192 replaced references to “tenured licenses” with references to “limited licenses”, effective May 26, 2000; June 30 Sp. Sess. P.A. 03-6 and P.A. 04-169 replaced Department of Consumer Protection with Department of Agriculture and Consumer Protection, effective July 1, 2004; P.A. 04-189 repealed Sec. 146 of June 30 Sp. Sess. P.A. 03-6, thereby reversing the merger of the Departments of Agriculture and Consumer Protection, effective June 1, 2004; P.A. 14-52 deleted references to licenses, limited licenses, licensees and limited licensees and made a technical change, effective July 1, 2014.
