(a) Any licensed real estate salesperson who transfers his employment from one broker to another or his affiliation with a broker as an independent contractor shall register such transfer with, and pay a registration fee of twenty-five dollars to, the commission.
(b) A fee of twenty-five dollars shall be paid to the commission for the issuance of a license certification.

(b) re fee for issuance of license certification or duplicate; P.A. 89-251 increased fees for transfer of registration and for issuance of a license or a duplicate from $10 to $15; P.A. 90-332 amended section to specify that fees be paid to “real estate” commission; May Sp. Sess. P.A. 92-6 amended Subsecs. (a) and (b) to increase fees from $15 to $25; P.A. 96-200 substituted “salesperson” for “salesman”; P.A. 98-10 made technical changes; P.A. 07-214 deleted provision re $25 duplicate license certificate fee in Subsec. (b), effective July 1, 2007.
