Section 10a-72d - Articulation agreements with the Technical Education and Career System. Credit for apprenticeship training programs.

The Board of Trustees for the Community-Technical Colleges shall establish procedures for (1) the development of articulation agreements between the regional community-technical colleges and the Technical Education and Career System in order to ensure a successful transition to higher education for students attending a technical education and career school, and (2) the awarding of appropriate college credit for persons enrolled in and registered under the terms of a qualified apprenticeship training program, certified in accordance with regulations adopted by the Labor Commissioner and registered with the Connecticut State Apprenticeship Council established under section 31-22n.

History: P.A. 98-252 effective July 1, 1998; pursuant to P.A. 12-116, “regional vocational-technical schools” was changed editorially by the Revisors to “technical high schools”, effective July 1, 2012; P.A. 17-237 amended Subdiv. (1) by replacing “technical high schools” with “Technical Education and Career System” and replacing “the technical high schools” with “a technical education and career school”, effective July 1, 2017.
