In addition to any funds received from federal and state agencies for the expenses of operating the Fort Ord Reuse Authority, the board may receive contributions from agencies represented on the board. Each agency represented by a board member shall contribute to the authority, on or before August 1 of each fiscal year, the sum of fourteen thousand dollars ($14,000) for each board member that the agency appoints. Each public agency which is represented on the board by an ex officio member shall contribute to the authority, on or before August 1 of each fiscal year, the sum of seven thousand dollars ($7,000). For purposes of this section, the term “public agency” does not include any elected official of the federal or state government.

(Added by Stats. 1994, Ch. 64, Sec. 1. Effective May 9, 1994. Inoperative on June 30, 2020, or sooner, as prescribed by Section 67700. Repealed as of January 1, 2021, pursuant to Section 67700.)
