§ 17-81-207. Executive director

(a) Pursuant to its authority set forth in § 17-81-206(b)(8), the Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners may employ an executive director to maintain and operate its office pursuant to its directions.

(b)

(1) The Executive Director of the Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners in consultation with and review of the board treasurer shall collect all fees and fines on behalf of the board and submit all payment requests on behalf of the board for its state appropriations.

(2) The executive director shall give in writing at the annual meeting of the board a fully itemized report of his or her receipts and disbursements for the preceding year showing the amount of money on hand and shall submit reports for inspection at other times as may be requested by the board or by any of its members.

(3) Copies of the annual reports, actions of the board, and number licensed for the year, certified by the secretary of the board, shall be submitted by the executive director to the various chiropractic professional organizations in Arkansas.
