§ 550.1633 - Treatment of overtime supplement as basic pay.

Regularly scheduled overtime pay within an agent's regular tour of duty is treated as part of basic pay or basic salary only for the following purposes:

5 U.S.C. 5524a and 5 CFR part 550, subpart B, pertaining to advances in pay;

5 U.S.C. 5595(c) and 5 CFR part 550, subpart G, pertaining to severance pay;

5 U.S.C. 8114(e), pertaining to workers' compensation;

5 U.S.C. 8331(3) and 5 U.S.C. 8401(4) and related provisions that rely on the definition in those paragraphs, pertaining to retirement benefits;

Subchapter III of chapter 84 of title 5, United States Code, pertaining to the Thrift Savings Plan;

5 U.S.C. 8704(c), pertaining to life insurance; and

For any other purposes explicitly provided for by law or as the Office of

Personnel Management may prescribe by other regulation.
