§ 19.77 - Statement of production procedure.

As required by § 19.73(a)(13)(ii), the application for registration must include a statement of the step-by-step production procedure used to produce spirits from an original source. The statement must begin with the treating, mashing, or fermenting of the raw materials or substances and continue through each step of the distilling, purifying, and refining procedure to the production gauge. The statement must include the kind and approximate quantity of each material or substance used in producing, purifying, or refining each type of spirits that will be produced.

If the applicant intends to redistill spirits in the production account, the applicant must submit and receive approval for such redistillation on form TTB F 5110.38, Formula for Distilled Spirits under the Federal Alcohol Administration Act.
