Each recipient employing the equivalent of 15 or more full-time employees shall complete a one-time written self-evaluation of its compliance under the Act within 18 months of the effective date of these regulations.
In its self-evaluation each recipient shall identify each age distinction it uses and justify each age distinction it imposes on the program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance from an agency.
Each recipient shall take corrective action whenever a self-evaluation indicates a violation of these regulations.
Each recipient shall make the self-evaluation available on request to the agency and to the public for a period of three years following its completion.
