Specifications. Each milliliter of solution contains 100 milligrams (mg) of methocarbamol.

Conditions of use—(1) Amount—(i) Dogs and cats. Administer by intravenous injection 20 mg per pound of body weight for moderate conditions or 25 to 100 mg per pound of body weight for severe conditions (tetanus and strychnine poisoning). The total cumulative dose should not to exceed 150 mg per pound of body weight.
Horses. Administer by intravenous injection 2 to 10 mg per pound of body weight for moderate conditions or 10 to 25 mg per pound of body weight for severe conditions (tetanus). Additional amounts may be needed to relieve residual effects and to prevent recurrence of symptoms.
Indications for use. As an adjunct for treating acute inflammatory and traumatic conditions of the skeletal muscles and to reduce muscular spasms.
Limitations. Do not use in horses intended for human consumption. Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
