General. EDA will select Economic Adjustment Assistance Projects in accordance with part 301 of this chapter and the additional criteria provided in paragraphs (b), (c), and (d) of this section, as applicable. Funding priority considerations for Economic Adjustment Assistance, including RLF Grants, may be set forth in an FFO.
Strategy Grants. EDA will review Strategy Grant applications to ensure that the proposed activities conform to the CEDS requirements set forth in § 303.7 of this chapter. Strategy Grants shall comply with the applicable provisions of part 303 of this chapter.
Implementation Grants. (1) EDA will review Implementation Grant applications for the extent to which the:
Applicable CEDS meets the requirements in § 303.7 of this chapter; and
Proposed Project is identified as a necessary element of or consistent with the applicable CEDS.
Implementation Grants involving construction shall comply with the provisions of subpart B of part 305 of this chapter.
Implementation Grants that do not involve construction shall comply with the applicable provisions of subpart A of part 306 of this chapter.
